At Whiteheath, we value the importance of promoting positive behaviour, mental health, wellbeing, resilience and achievement. That’s why we ensure our PSHCE curriculum builds the essential life skills and attitudes for unlocking our pupils’ potential. The SCARF (Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience, Friendship) scheme of work provides a whole-school approach to building these essential foundations – crucial for children to achieve their best, academically and socially – through a series of building blocks structured to deliver a progressive programme. Our curriculum is embedded with the five British Values – Democracy, Rule of Law, Tolerance of different cultures and religion, Mutual respect, and Individual liberty.
