All Year 1 and year 2 children can choose to fill in an Application form to become a School Councillor at the beginning of the school year. Two children from each class are then elected by their class friends to become the school council representatives for that class.
Mrs Carter meets with the School Council as often as possible to talk about issues around school. The children also meet with the Headteacher to discus any Health and Safety issues around school. On Governor Day the School Council along with Eco Warriors have some time to meet with the Governors to ask questions about their role as a Governor and how they help the school. The children often represent the school during trips and as a thank you to the children we take them to Learning at the Lock in Rickmansworth at the end of the year.
